Don't count on the new poll...

EPIC/MRA released a new poll today, claiming that Dick DeVos is now ahead of Granholm by 8 points.  While the initial, knee-jerk reaction is to be excited, we are proceeding with extreme caution.  It is the opinion of the MRP that there isn't a whole lot of meat to this poll.  This poll is not consistent with others that we are seeing.  We think that the EPIC poll is not balanced in its sample size.

What we are seeing, and are excited about, is the trend- our guy continues to trend up while their candidate sinks or stays level.  Michigan citizens are paying attention- and they know that the status quo isn't getting it done.  They are starting to see the Dick DeVos is the change that Michigan needs.

It is now, and will continue to be a close race, all the way through November.
